New FTC fake e-mail

A new e-mail claiming to be from the FTC could infect a user's computer with a virus that collects personal information.
The spoof e-mail includes a logo for the Federal Trade Commission and informs recipients that they are the subject of a trade complaint. Recipients are then asked to click on an e-mail address which, when clicked, actually downloads the virus into the computer.
The Utah Division of Consumer Protections Issues is warning recipients to not click on any links or download anything from these e-mails. Instead, forward the message to www.spam.uce.gov and then delete the message.
