Experts say attacks by computer hackers are getting much more sinister.
"They're trying to get into your computer, so they can take it over and use it for something else," said cyber security expert Neil Sindich.
Online retailers are sometimes targeted by these groups, who then demand money.
"From what we understand, these retailers are more prone to pay extortion fees than to get law enforcement involved because of the process and length of time it'll take to stop it from happening and the money loss, if the hackers did take down the network," Sindich said.
