Child porn: Russian man sentenced

A man of Ekaterinburg, Russia, was tried and sentenced in charges of distribution of child porn. The accused was condemned to three-years conditional sentence plus 2 years of probation.

According to Interfax, main investigation department of Sverdlovsk together with English High-Tech Crime Unit revealed distributors of child porn involving images of 7-14 year-old children in Ekaterinburg.

Englishmen have found a website on the Internet advertising child porn. It was established that the hosting ISP of this website was located in Kazahstan. Then NHTCU turned to Kazakhstan police through the Interpol. The Kazachs found out that this website was created in a house in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

It is established that children shot in the movies are foreigners. The accused only distributed porn production. Foreign residents, who have already bought videos for $90 each, were interrogated as witnesses.
