Law enforcement officers from across the United States gathered in Knoxville to learn more about investigating online crimes, everything from child exploitation to fraud.
The officers were part of a four-week course training them how to record, authenticate, and preserve online evidence.
Officers also learned what resources internet service providers have available for law enforcement.
"Well, the best tool is knowledge, to know what we keep, to know what we have in terms of what's on our network, what's on the computers that use our networks," said Don Colcolough of America Online.
Students completed their final exam Thursday afternoon and will graduate Friday.
