Central Florida senior citizens defrauded of their savings say an alleged scam artist promised them badly needed help but delivered nothing.
Marvin Lewis is accused of using an Internet scam to offer senior citizens help with legal proceedings, home improvements and car payments.
Gail Pearman, 72, of Kissimmee, Fla., one of several victims allegedly targeted by Lewis, said no lawsuits were ever filed, and no repairs ever completed, but her car was repossessed, WKMG-TV, Orlando, reported Tuesday.
Pearman accused Lewis of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from her.
