Child porn seizure 'biggest ever'

POLICE arrested eight men and seized computers and tens of thousands of pictures when they smashed what was described as a child pornography ring of unprecedented scale in the Canadian capital.
The Ottawa Police High Tech Crime Unit said officers swooped against an operation to buy child porn over the Internet.
"This evidence contained some of the most heinous acts of child sexual abuse ever seen by members of the High Tech Crime Unit," the force said.
"The volume of child pornography seized is unprecedented in the history of the Ottawa Police Service."
Eight men have been charged with offences including possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
