Inauguarating the delegates session of the Kerala Police Association's silver jubilee convention, he said the Union Government had given necessary clearance in this regard. Cyber crime was on the rise in the state, he said.

Separate recruitment would be made for the Vigilance Wing and 50 per cent of the officials would be recruited while the remaining would be taken in on deputation as was being done presently, Balakrishnan said.
