A Ukrainian child porn ring exposed

Ukrainian police has stopped the activity of a criminal group taking porn pictures and movies of more that 500 girls between 8 and 16 years old in the likeness of a model agency and sold them to foreign porn websites.

The studio for shooting porn was rented in the centre of Kiev, police officers informed. The company also had branch offices in Kharkiv and Simferopol. At this stage of investigation, a porn business chieftain was arrested and criminal proceedings were initiated against him. Other members of the criminal group were announced wanted, Interfax informed.

According to investigators, criminals told parents about model business of their children and paid them from $10 to $40 per hour of shooting.

According to the initial information, average profit of the company amounted to monthly $100,000.

Ukrainian police said they had exposed such child porn distribution network for the first time.
