The F.B.I. wants internet users to be aware of a new online scam. Investigators say the e-mail is a two part scam that claims to be from director Robert Mueller. The second solicits money to send to “F.B.I. Nigeria.” The e-mails ask for documents and promise cash in return, but also threatens that charges could be filed against the recipient if that person doesn’t comply.

The F.B.I. is investigating the phony e-mails – they ask you file a complaint with them if you get the e-mail.
