Online scammer and "shady deal with some Russians"

Less than two weeks after the death of Eva Burr's mother, an Internet scam artist has tried to tarnish her good name.
Apparently hacking into an online guest book of condolences, a scam artist said Dorothy Erickson was involved in a "shady deal with some Russians" and that there is $15 million in a mystery account.
"I think it's probably the worst thing you can do to somebody, especially so soon after they've lost their mother," said Burr, of New Westminster. "I think it's the scum of the earth."
