The Department of Justice (DoJ) has created a task force that will deal with cybersecurity issues in legislation and investigation.
The group will pursue the e-government agenda, institutionalize a cybersecurity regime and implement laws, according to State Prosecutor Geronimo Sy, chairman of the new task force.
The cybersecurity body will be under Assistant State Prosecutor Severino Gana, a copy of the DoJ order said.
“This is the first task force of its kind. It will cover everything that relates to cybercrime and security,” he said.
