"Revealing and investigation of high tech crimes" Seminar


We conduct trainings in the field of investigation and prevention of computer crimes.

Training is conducted in a form of a seminar of professional development.

Program of the seminar

The goal of the "Revealing and investigation of high tech crimes" seminar is an insight into terms and conception of high tech crimes, modus operandi, typical investigative situations and actions to be taken by law enforcement at preliminary stage, critical issues of fighting and counteracting to computer crimes, preventing credit card frauds, preventing high tech crimes.

Basic tasks

- forming of conception of basic terms and the heart of computer information;

- insight into basis of legal criminal and criminalistic description of high tech crimes;

- insight into peculiarities of investinating high tech crimes on the stage of pre-trial and further investigation;

- insight into peculiarities of preventing high tech crimes;

Form of studies - lectures and tutorials, self-institution work of listeners.

Subject-matter

Subject-matter of the "Revealing and investigation of high tech crimes" was compiled according to the following information:
the seminar is one week long, 5 days:

total studies - 24 hours, including 16 hours of lectures, 6 hours of tutorials, 4 hours of self-institution, 2 hours of testing.

Schedule

Tutorials

1. Revealing and investigation of high tech crimes - 2 hours.

2. Criminal description of high tech crimes - 2 hours.

3. Seizure and examination of computer equipment and data carriers - 2 tutorials.

Self-institution

The contents:

1. Self study of theory.
2. Preparation to the tutorials, study of laws and educational literature.
3. Other forms of self-institution.

Listeners obtain the necessary eduational literature.

Knowledge estimation criteria

Spot check, tests after the seminar completion, certification.
