A few weeks ago I received a questionair asking me what I would do if I won a millin dollars, like would you help a charity, or would you buy a boat, or would you have a party. So I filled it out and sent it back. It came from Australia. Today I received a notice that says I am a Grand Slam winner and if I want to find out how much I've won to send back the form with ten dollars. Is this a scam or what? Has anyone else received this?

I got a letter in the mail from MEGA 2000 Imperial Random Draws Winning Certificate and it was a lottery draw that was held in London, England. It also has different level categories and informs me that I have "emerged as one of the winners in the third category."
It has a sponsor, Chrysler, Inc., that has enclosed a check for $153 above the cost of the international clearance fees that has me go deposit in my bank account the check and then withdraw in cash and come back and call the "North American Agent" located in Alberta, Canada so that I can call for further instructions for where to take the $2,845.00 clearance fee. The check looks legit. I xeroxed it at the Post Office upon receipt of the letter and the xeroxed copy had "VOID" written several times in even increments all over the face of the check.
Is this a legitimate lottery or just another scam>

THIS IS A SCAM! North American Prize Pool Scam. I got a check for $2800 and I called and spoke with a guy that told me to cash it. But when I went on the internet, I found the scam all over the internet. I called the organization the check came from. They were outraged. I faxed the check and the letter to the organization. I also plan on calling one of the numbers from the websites I've seen.

Don't cash the check because you will be responsible for the funds. The checks are bad, and they will reflect on your account.
