i have just been sent an email by POWERBALL INT LOTTERY INC stating that i have won a so called £1.000.000.00 address 1 plough place london united kingdom with ref numbers and bar codes approved by a mrs laura chase and claims officer thomas allen TEL NO +44 701 112 8606 this was a so called draw on the 30th september i didnt actually recieve this as junk mail but i am very wary about this has any1 else had this email and do they know of it being a scam? ive never had this before most people would be jumping for joy thinking is this real! but then most people are very vulnarable too and end up in disaster zone all i can say is never give out personal info including bank details i certainly wont be and certainly dont trust this maybe?? dangerous email??

10/04/06 I also received a letter from OGLC saying I won $250,000. Enclosed was a check for $4975.00 to help pay the taxes on it. What an evil scam. I alerted the police and postmaster

received a letter from barclay lotto with a check, told to cash the check and send them so much back for taxes and such via western union and then they would issue me my winnings for 50,000.00 sounds too good to be true, anybody else heard from this company. cashiers check was from county federal credit union.

just received a letter and a check from barclay lotto prize, inc. asking that i cash the check for $ 2900.00 and then in return sent them a check for 2700.00 via western union and then they will send me a check for 50,000.00. sounds like a scam to me, anybody out there received the same. thanks

i was taken advantage of over 3,000 dollar. The check that was sent to me to pay the taxes was fraudulant from a company in Georgia. The check stayed in the bank for 5 days and was cleared and then that amount was taken from my checking account.......i hope they are stopped before any other person is taken advantage of..

I am a correctional officer who deals with criminals very day and this week I apparently am dealing with a criminal I cannot get my hands on(lucky for them).
I apparently have won over 2 million euris fro TH IRISH LOTTERY. I ven mentioned tha I have worked on internet scam artists before and that I was skeptical. True to form Dr.Felix Parker re-staes that this is a legitimate winning prize and ": congratulations to me " I did make a mistake and give them my info but no monies have changed hands and I hope I have contacted the right people. It is amazing how stupid I feel, how much worse could it have gotten

IF ANY SO CALLED LOTTERY you won, whether money or a car..if they ASK YOU TO SEND MONEY, ask for your credit card number, your phone number, your bank account information..DELETE AND RUN FROM YOUR COMPUTER..do not send cash..do not give out your personal information! REMEMBER..you do NOT GET something for nothing! SO PLEASE BE AWARE AND CAUTIOUS! i got the letter in the mail from the british random lotto i herd there a scam but on the check it doesnt say anything bout the lotto it says imev discovery resources inc.and an address. then it says centura bank charlotte,NC 28207.and when you call the agent person it says the persons unable to be reached at this time to try again later.
is this one a scam too???
