My daughter has just been informed by letter from Ganadores Lottery S.A that she has won a large sum of money held by Exitex Seguros S.A and has therefore faxed them some personal details and a copy of her drivers licence.
She has spoke on the phone to someone called Don Xavi Luis on the following telephone number:

We are now obviously aware that this is probably a scam and have notified her bank to be aware of any unusual transactions. We would like to know just what she is facing and are there any other precautions we should take to protect her.
