Last week I received a letter stating that I had won 585,510 Euros on the EUROMILLONES INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY PROGRAM. I faxed my information to Mr. ALFREDO SANCHEZ of GRUPO BILBAO SECURITY COMPANY S.L (+34 692 289 809). The next evning I received a call from Mr. Sanchez assuring me that this was no hoax, that I really was a winner, and that he was just verifying some information. He told me that I would be contacted the next day (Friday) - I was not. A Mr. FERNANDO TORRES of CENTRAL BANK OF SPAIN (ph. 011 34 676 903 711) contacted me Monday and told me that my cheque was ready and that I must contact Mr. Sanchez to sign it out, but that I would have to pay 2810 Euros in bank fees and in insurance for the cheque. I contacted Mr. Sanchez to let him know that I could not possibly come up with the money as I am heavily in debt, but that maybe I could take an advance on my pay - he was willing to let me do this. I then realized that I could not take an advance for more than 1,000 CHF (about 640 Euros) so I sent Mr. Sanchez a faxed proposition that he cover the fees to release the check and that I would reimburse him the 2810 Euros charges and pay him 4150 Euros from my winnings for his help. He phoned me back saying that he was touched by my fax and would try to help me. Yesterday he phoned me back saying that he could come up with 1,200 Euros of the fee, but that I would have to find the rest. I did find the rest - an elderly neighbor of mine was willing to lend me the money, but my transfer instructions sounded dubious - I was told to send a money order to Mr. ERIC MATHIN, Madrid Spain. My neighbor and I decided that there was no guarantee on just a name, and a new name at that, so I asked for bank transfer instructions. They were faxed to me, with my name incorrectly spelled. That seemed highly unprofessional, and the bank was BANCO DE ANDALUCIA, not the Central Bank of Spain. This set off alarm bells. I tried to verify that the fax number was the same one used by Mr. Sanchez - it was not. I discovered that it came from ROCAR 04 SL (950 319 060) which I looked up on the internet and found that it is Broadband Services in Spain. I had to wonder what they could possibly have to do with all this, so I emailed them to find out about Eric Mathin, but they have not replied.
Mr. Sanchez has reassured me that this lottery win is truely real and to trust him - that if I get the money to him today I will have my check by Friday and will be able to pay off my friend. I am very leary of all this. I would like to trust him but everytime I enter any of the firms (except for Rocar 04) into the internet to get information I get lottery fraud warnings. I really would like to know what I should do - if this is indeed a legitimate lottery win I would like to redeem my prize. But I could never live with myself if I lost my friend's pension, and there is no way I could pay her back as I am in financial strife as it is.
If anyone can advise me, please do so.

I was almost about to get caught up in the lottery scam. But I decided to go online and check it out. They tell that if there is a number on the letter than it might be for real , but I don't take no chances. sincerly , vershuan

I have two scams to report:
The first is a letter I recieved from Australian Powerball, who claimed I had won $5.600,000 in cash from an agent called Pam Evans. This letter was personally signed by a Rebecca Logan, the general manager at a division of Global Alternative Finance Limited, located at 2002 Rt. 22 West, N.Plainfield Australia, Tel. 127 458. They asked me to contact my "agent" at 1-888-825-7842 in order to claim my winnings.
The second was also a letter that claimed I had won $509 million combined from the Spanish lottery (Elgardo- the incorrect spelling of it lead me to believe it was false) and the UK lottery. It included the contact information for a Mr. David Adams (Tel. 011447960786587, Fax. 011448709121695) and it was signed by the "president" of the Australian Lottery, Helen Anderson. Australian International Lottery Prize Release Centre is located at 78 Belgreen Lane, London, England, SE26 5TE.

i received this letter from your country, stating i have won a large lump sum of money through your international lotto commission. however, i was told by two people the person acting on my behalf as a agent and a bank manager by the name of jimenezer inacio. the abnk manager supposely works for the banco santander(bank of madrid). i was told i had to pay $1200 up front because my monies was insured in order to receive my check that i won. i have never heard of anything like this.
